More Than Big Rigs: Sound Truck and Trailer

by Courtney Green | Dec 12, 2019 10:57:02 AM

Tucked away off the Valley Freeway in Pacific, Washington is
a warehouse full of some pretty talented people. People who understand a hard day’s
work, how to trick out a truck and the value of honest relationships. These
amazing people have another thing in common, they all work for Sound Truck and
Trailer Repair.

The company started in 2008 when owner Laurence Flinn was
unsure of the future with his then-employer. Flinn took a risk and opened his
own repair shop. Starting with one truck and basic tools, Sound Truck and
Trailer Repair had nowhere to go but up. Today the team has a handful of
trucks, 19 employees and an ever-growing client list.

Laurence attributes his success to the relationships he’s
harbored over the years. One important relationship is with BBBNW+P employee,
Denita Kitts. For Flinn, it’s about looking to people who know more than you,
learning from them and growing. Whether it’s vendors, clients or marketing help
from Kitts, there is no doubt these relationships have helped Sound Truck and
Trailer Repair grow.

The six year BBB accredited business offers mobile and in
shop repairs, custom builds and modifications. Their portfolio ranges from off
roading vehicles to semi-trucks and everything in between. Seeing their work
firsthand is a real treat.

When asked what is the secret sauce to his success, he
replied, “I don’t think there is a secret sauce. It’s just standing behind what
you believe in and make sure you’re doing the right thing”.
